Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station, Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Siliguri, begin your scenic uphill journey to Darjeeling. Enjoy the lush green views of tea estates and mountain landscapes on the way. After reaching Darjeeling, check in to your hotel. Spend the evening exploring the Mall Road or relaxing at the hotel. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Begin your day early with a sunrise visit to Tiger Hill to witness the magnificent view of Mount Kanchenjunga bathed in golden hues. On your return, stop at Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, proceed for a local sightseeing tour that includes Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, and a scenic tea garden. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Kalimpong, a peaceful hill town about 2.5 to 3 hours away from Darjeeling. The journey offers wonderful views of valleys, forests, and riverbeds. Upon arrival, check in to your Kalimpong hotel and relax. You can explore the local market or take a short nature walk. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.
